Been Blogging Here for 20 Years

I saw a reminder today that it was a blogging anniversary. 

I started this blog 20 years ago today. The world was very different for me then.

My wife and I had just started dating. My kids were just starting the school year.

If you had told me then that I would retire at 57 years old, that my son would grow up to be a Monk in a monastery, and I would be a published author a dozen times over... I would have laughed like a pirate!

Drink coffee, make stuff up

Just for fun my friend Gerald McGee and I do web comics. We currently have 2 weekly comics running out there:

Mr. Ger draws the excellent panels and I basically drink coffee until I think of something.

Our characters do a lot of sitting and talking and drinking coffee.

What I thought was a sprained ankle, turned out to be a wicked bone spur. Ouch.

It was also our 9th wedding anniversary! We took a nice drive in the Blue Ridge mountains. BR had never done it before. It was a beautiful day with perfect weather.
