If there is one weigh-in a year I am gonna skip it is going to be this one. The one right after Thanksgiving.

It would only be negative.

If I didn't gain weight I will tend to eat more.

If I did gain weight I would beat myself up and drown my sorrows with my head in the fridge.

Not knowing I just go back to my routine and start weigh ins again next week on the 6th.

This week was another slow week. Damn I was hoping to do better just before Thanksgiving week.

I knew I would hit a shelf in the downward free fall. Time to make some more changes.

I got back on the stick this week and lost half the weight I gained over the previous 2 weeks!!

This week was 11-11-11 and, at 11:11am, I put on my headphones and cranked up some Spinal Tap!

Well I am back from my business trips.

As expected the steady down trend was stopped. A three pound gain could have been way worse. I actually did restrain myself at every meal. I left like half my food there at almost every meal.

I am glad to be home. Glad to be back on track!

I am on business travel for a couple weeks and not near my scale. So there is no official weigh-in this week.

While traveling I have to be careful eating at restaurants every meal. I think I am doing OK so far.

I persuaded Brenda to come along on this weeks trip for a weekend away. It was an easy sell because there was a PEZ convention the weekend just before my conference.

This trip we have a kitchenette in out room. Back to good coffee and oatmeal for at least one controlled meal a day.

I am enjoying another pair of skinny jeans today as well!!

This week I got into my old skinny jeans! I am down to the last hole in my smallest belt. Brenda says, "Marty the pants situation is getting ridiculous! Go buy pants!"

I am going to be on travel for the next two weeks so weigh-ins are not going to be on the normal Wednesdays. I am worried that eating out every meal for two weeks is going to be a problem. I am going to try and off set that by stepping up the exercise.

And I got a hair cut!!

Yet another big milestone for me. I have past the 60 pound mark. That's right folks!  60 pounds out of the 100 I want to drop is gone!

Brenda said last night, "My God, my arms go all the way around you now!"

Now is the time to stay focused! I have some travel coming up and that is always harder for me!

I crashed through 240 this week! A big milestone for me. Tonight I go through my closet to clear out my fat pants. ALL of them are going to Goodwill.

My wedding ring randomly fell off this week. I am glad it happened in the kitchen so it was obvious. I will be wearing it on another finger until I hit my goal weight.

It was a good week. Not for weight loss, but a good week anyway.  It was our sixth wedding anniversary, the Iron Anniversary. Brenda got me a cool Zombie Lawn Gnome and she got a vintage bracelet! We spent the weekend with Friends. Ate too much and DRANK too much. Oktober means Beerfest!

This week I went to the Ren Fair. Even though I wanted to eat all the good stuff in sight I restricted myself to a Turkey Leg and water.

I also dragged out my old pants!  I have now moved from 44 to 40 on the waist of my pants. They are not even tight!

I also spent a ton of time on my feet and did carb control!

Also I saw this ad this week and I will buy some bacon salt not only because bacon makes everything better, but I also want to encourage this kind of marketing behavior!

Back Again...

Tomorrow I'm signing up for Weight Watchers at Work. I totally suck at the diet and need some structure. I've had some positive progress with working out most evenings. I have given up Soda and drink about 4 20 oz bottles of water at work. For those of you counting, that's about 10 trips to the Ladies room 30 to 45 minutes apart. I know....TMI.

Holidays are over, and now we return to our work!

It was not as bad as I feared. I gained about 5 pounds back. I am now at 261 lbs as of this morning. That is down 9 pounds from September.

BR and I will reaquaint ourselves with our wonderful how excersie equipment and I will also be cracking out the Wii Fit stuff I got for Christmas.
